Chemola™ Desco Polymel 410 is an improved formulation for hydrocarbon resistance. It is formulated with a polymeric lubricant base to enhance high and low temperature performance and hydrocarbon resistance along with resistance to strong acids and bases. Performance is improved in the fringe temperature applications.
Polymel 410 is the standard lubricant for use in alkylation processes using hydrofluoric acid. It is also recommended for use with the following: acids, alkalis, aliphatic hydrocarbons, butane gasoline, hydrofluoric acid, jet fuel, kerosene, natural gas and propane. It can be used as a coating to protect metal surfaces from acidic environments.
